Immersion Breaking. Traditional VR controllers force users to hold a plastic handle constantly ("Claw Grip"), causing fatigue. Buttons and joysticks are abstract, you don't "press A" to pick up an apple in real life; you just grab it, this abstraction creates a steep learning curve and breaks immersion.
Natural Gesture Control. TG0 removed the buttons entirely, we created an advanced Touch Sensing Surface that wraps around the handle. By detecting finger proximity, touch, and pressure (squeeze), the controller tracks your natural hand movements. You simply close your hand to grab and open it to release.

How Advanced Touch Sensing Enables Open-Hand VR
The eteeController works with standard polymer-based materials and uses a unique dual-layer sensing approach: Capacitive Proximity Sensing detects fingers before they touch the surface, allowing for hover states and highly nuanced hand animation in VR. Dynamic Pressure Sensing measures the actual Grip Force once the hand closes, allowing the system to distinguish between a gentle hold and a crushing squeeze, enabling entirely new gameplay mechanics.
